In a heartwarming twist, Mother’s Day celebrations took a remarkable turn in Kalsegra as Rev. Fr. Linus Nangwele, a philanthropic priest and senior lecturer at the University of Education, Winneba, donated tons of maize to the Saint Monica’s Widows Association. This generous act, done through Assemblyman Hon. Boniface Kpan, came just a week after Fr. Linus shared his birthday meal with the community.

Urging the mothers to pray for his well-being and that of his supporters, Fr. Linus said the donation was a way of giving back to the community. The widows, mostly elderly, were overwhelmed with gratitude. The widows expressed gratitude profusely, with many fighting back tears as they received the maize. They blessed Fr. Linus, his friends and supporters of _Resolve International Inc,_ saying his kindness had made their Mother’s Day unforgettable. “We have no husbands to celebrate us, but today, Fr. Linus has shown us that we are not forgotten,” one of the widows said. Their heartfelt prayers and songs of thanks filled the air, turning the donation event into a moving celebration of love and remembrance.

Thank you
